Strayed 2003 DVD

Storyline!

June 1940. German forces are moving toward Paris. Odile, a widowed teacher, succumbs to the general fear and leaves the city with her two children. Little Cathy just knows that they are traveling to the South, while Philippe is on the verge of adolescence. Fifty kilometers later, a German jet launches an attack, annihilating the defenseless refugees. Odile and her kids are left with nothing. They are led away from the carnage by a young man with a shorn head who emerges out of nowhere. He goes by the name Yvan and is seventeen years old. Odile and Yvan find themselves confronted by their own desires as a result of being cut off from the outside world and living in small spaces.
