Storyline!

This four-hour mini-series adapts Dean Koontz’s best-selling novel for television. A newspaper reporter discovers that his wife and daughter died in a plane crash and that the crash may have been linked to a malicious scientific experiment using minors. A woman approaches his wife’s grave, claiming to be a survivor of the disaster. This leads to a conspiracy by the Quartermass organization to kidnap her and a little child she is protecting, who possesses healing and transporting abilities. The attack is led by a ruthless assassin and a little youngster who can manipulate people’s thoughts from afar.
