The Storyline of Memories of My Melancholy Whores 2011

A 90-year-old single journalist named Sabio chooses to treat himself to a passionate night of love with a young virgin as a birthday present. Sabio has grown accustomed to intimacy with whores since he was a little child. Delgado, a factory worker who sells her virginity to support her family, is the ideal young woman Rosa Cabarcas, an old acquaintance and brothel madam, finds for him. However, when he sees her sleeping angelically, he loses interest in pure pleasure and falls in love with her. That hope is the result of a chance for unrestricted love, even though that love was not meant to be real.
