Storyline!
The Grapes of Wrath 1940, Debuted in the famous John Steinbeck novel, the Joad family hopes to find a better future in California. Their farm, ravaged by drought, is confiscated by the bank, and the family takes a truck to venture all the way west, led by their newly laid-off son Tom. On their journey, they meet many other families who share the same dreams and who are going through similar hardships. Eventually, the Joads made it to California, only to discover it wasn’t the paradise they had imagined.
