Storyline!

The Santa Clause, Scott Calvin is outraged to learn that his ex-wife Laura and her husband Neil have made no effort to convince their 6-year-old son Charlie that Santa Claus doesn’t exist. On Christmas Eve, Scott is reading The Night Before Christmas when an unexpected visitor appears on his roof. Startled by Scott’s shout, Santa falls and disappears. All that remains is his eight-man reindeer sleigh and the suit he was supposed to wear in case of an accident. Scott is led through the city, where he drops presents down chimneys, and then to the North Pole, where a group of elves informs him that he has become Santa Claus. Charlie is proud of Scott’s new job, but Scott is convinced it was all a dream. After that, his hair turns gray, his beard can no longer be shaved, he inexplicably gains weight, and suddenly develops a craving for junk food. Now he accepts it, but there’s just one problem. It’s about how to keep it a secret from family members who don’t believe it.
