Dead Beat 1994 DVD
Storyline!
Rudy, a high school student from the Midwest, relocates to Albuquerque in 1965. Lonely and without friends, he is drawn to Kit, who is a little older and has a car, his own apartment, and money to spend. The kit is completely phony: his tan is false, he wears lifts, he tells lies to girls, and he appears to care about Rudy. He also loves Elvis and the ladies. Jimmy and Martha, two more ardent followers, are also privy to Kit’s dark secret. In Kirsten, a spoilt, affluent girl who gives as good as she gets, he finds his match. Rudy is forced to decide between loneliness and the law when she and a younger cousin vanish.
