Storyline!

Little Women 2019, With their father absent during the Civil War in 19th-century Massachusetts, the March women—loving matriarch Marmee and her four daughters Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth—are left to fend for themselves. Joe March, an aspiring writer facing mild poverty, struggles to make a name for himself in masculine New York City. The doting Meg is now married and the artistically talented Amy is in Paris with her wealthy Aunt March. However, when the gifted Beth falls ill, the sisters are reunited under one roof. But more than anything else in the world, much to the chagrin of her handsome neighbor Theodore “Lori” Lawrence, Joe desperately craves freedom. Does every story have to end with a wedding?
