Singing in the Rain 1952 DVD

Storyline!

Singing in the Rain 1952, 1927 Hollywood. Monumental Pictures’ biggest stars, hot couple Lena Lamont and Don Lockwood, are an off-screen couple if the trade papers and gossip columns are to be believed. Both maintain public perception just to please their die-hard fans and lure people to the movies. Despite his inner yearning, he naively believes what he sees on the screen to bolster his fame and sense of importance. The Jazz Singer (1927) became a real hit and all the cinemas went to R.F. Don’s close friend and musician Cosmo Brown is hired as Monumental’s conceptual artist and music director. And by that point, Don had started a secret relationship with Kathy Selden. Though the meeting wasn’t friendly, Cosmo and Cathy help Don, who has risen through the ranks of movies to stardom, try to make the leap to talkie stardom. And Katie follows suit. However, they have to overcome technical difficulties. But the bigger problem is Lina. Lina will do anything to successfully picture speak, even without her own skills. Especially Katie as Don’s off-screen girlfriend and possibly the new talking lady.
