The Storyline of The Manchurian Candidate 1962
The Manchurian Candidate 1962, Bennett, Major Marco (Frank Sinatra) is a U.S. Army intelligence officer. In the Korean War, he fought valiantly as a Captain, and his Sergeant, Raymond Shaw (Laurence Harvey), was awarded the Medal of Honor. Marco, on the other hand, has a big problem: he has a recurring experience in which Shaw kills two members of his unit. He’s sent on extended sick leave and travels to New York to see Shaw.
Despite his domineering mother, Mrs. Eleanor Shaw Iselin’s reservations, Shaw has built himself well (Dame Angela Lansbury). She is a red-baiter, accusing everyone who opposes her reactionary right-wing ideals of being a Communist. Raymond despises her not only because of how she has treated him but also because of his stepfather, inept US Senator John Iselin (Jame).
Marco discovers that something happened to others in his Korean War unit as he hears that some have had nightmares close to his. Marco discovers that something happened to others in his Korean War unit as he hears that some have had nightmares close to his.
