Storyline!
After a mental breakdown during his first internship, playboy Alec Considine returns to New North Hospital for the second year of the internship. The explosive Tony Parelli, a former slum youngster who is immediately at conflicts with Dr. Riccio, the hospital’s chief, and Phil Osterman, who smuggles his bride into the intern’s quarters to live, are among the new interns he guides about the hospital.
Parelli falls in love with Nancy Terman, a social worker who is raped by delinquents Parelli knew from the slums, and her life is shattered. Dr. Lew Worship, a newly married resident, learns that he is infertile, and the news nearly destroys his marriage, but he and his wife, Gloria, find a solution by opting to adopt children.
