Storyline!

Sex, Lies, and Videotape 1989, John Mullaney and Anne Mullaney, partner, and homemaker, are a dynamic young couple who most people would imagine to have a perfect life. It looks great, but the reality is that she is struggling with stress because she is worried about world problems that she has little control over. He believes that some of the things he can control, such as sexual repression or lack of interest in sex as an activity, will be a problem in his life until it manifests itself in the stress he endures.

It will hurt his marriage. What he doesn’t know is that long before the stress began, John had begun an affair with his sister, bartender Cynthia Bishop. John is reunited with his best friend from college, Graham Dalton, whom John hasn’t heard from in years and who seems to have lost his bearings in life. Graham had a huge influence on Cynthia, John, and Anne, and she, particularly Anne, through the way she dealt with her emotional and sexual problems which she also said was quite open with everyone involved On him.
