Pal Joey 1957 DVD
Storyline!
Joey Evans is a nice, gorgeous, humorous, and skilled a-1st class, A-N°.1 heel. When Joey meets Vera Simpson, a former chorus girl (“she used to be ‘Vera…with the vanishing veils'”) who is now a wealthy widow, the pair of lecherous souls seem meant for each other. That is, until Linda English appears. Linda is a “mouse on the chorus line” with a physique to match. But she’s the stereotypical good little girl from a good little family, just the right component to sabotage Joey’s plan.
